Mark James Anderson

Memorial Services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 11,at the Perry United Methodist Church for Mark James Anderson, 55 of Perry. Mark died Monday, January 7, 2013 at the scene of an automobile accident on US. 69 Highway, three mile south of Louisburg in Miami County. Cremation is planned and inurnment will be at a later date. Mark was born November 12, 1957 at Topeka. He was adopted by David William “Bill” and Illa Marie Rowland Anderson. Living in Perry for many years, He was a 1975 graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School and he attended Vo-Tech School in Manhattan for a year. Mark worked as a Fork Lift Operator in the Kansas City area for many years, working through the Laborers International Union Local # 1290 in Kansas City, KS. He was currently working as an operator at the LA Cygne Power Plant LA Cygne, KS. He was a member of the Perry United Methodist Church and Abate of Kansas. He was married to Debbie Lyons and they later divorced. He is survived by his Parents, David W. “Bill” and Illa M. Anderson, Perry, one brother, Bob Anderson, Manhattan, and two sisters, Sherry (Robert, Jr.) Tyler, Boerne, TX.,and Karen (Steve) Pesce, North Bend, WA., many cousins and extended family and friends. Memorials may be made to Perry United Methodist Church or to Abate of Kansas in care of Barnett Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 602, Oskaloosa, KS. 66066.
