E arly on in 2011, myself (Jake Barnett)and my wife, made the choice to pursue ownership of the Barnett Family Services, LLC. It started off as a novel idea to have in place if I should ever want to start a business. Little did I know that chance would come quickly with the Barnett Family Funeral Home. We opened here on August 5, 2011 and the outpouring from the families of Jefferson County and the Surrounding areas we serve has been a true blessing for a new business.
In mid-September we welcomed Gus Barnett to our staff as a funeral director, embalmer and on-site cemetery representative for Pleasant View Cemetery in Oskaloosa, Buster Cemetery in Rural Perry, and Meriden Cemetery in Meriden. As a bonus, if your looking to "Tie The Knot" Mr. Barnett is an ordained minister, and can assist you and your love one in an exchange of vows.
